Each collage in this series has been made using a limited number of paper elements. These elements may have been found, painted, or sourced from previous mixed media works. In every case, they have been arranged and rearranged in search for connection points that feel “just right” and compositions that want to stick.
It’s a process that prioritizes simplicity, is often a bit tricky, and has helped me appreciate the significance of collage in my ongoing kitchen table studio practice.
These are pieces I love making, and I hope you will enjoy them too.
